Product features:

The inclined flow turbine runner is arranged on a conical surface concentric with the main shaft, and the blade axis forms an angle with the center line of the turbine main shaft, which varies with the head. Generally, the head has an angle of 60° at 40 to 80 m, 45° at 60 to 130 m, and 30° at 120 to 200 m. Therefore, more blades can be arranged on the diagonal flow wheel than the axial flow wheel, which reduces the pressure on the unit area of the blade and improves the applicable water head. The blade rotation mechanism is arranged in the diagonal flow wheel body, and can also be double adjusted according to the external load change, so its average efficiency is higher than that of the mixed flow type, and the high efficiency area is wider than the mixed flow type. Because the water flow in the axial projection view flows obliquely into the runner and flows obliquely, it is also called a diagonal flow rotary turbine. Its applicable water head is between 40 and 200 meters between the axial flow and the Francis turbine.

However, due to the particularly complicated structure of the inclined blade operating mechanism, the processing requirements and the high cost, it is generally only used in large and medium-sized hydropower stations, and the application of such a turbine is not yet widespread.
